ISM Dhanbad is one of the premier institutes of the country admitting undergraduate students through prestigious IIT JEE. Since the inception of Sparx in the year 2007, every year has marked a new milestone in the journey towards inspiring Techno-Creativity. The fest in is one of the biggest technical fests organized by IEEE student branches in India. Sparx provides the much needed technical platform for engineering students to test their mettle against other minds from all corners of the country and involves a plethora of events from primary fields of engineering.
Buoyed by the overwhelming success of Sparx ’10, on this 5th occasion, we plan to host the festival on a grander scale this year, making it an even greater success and pushing it to a higher dimension.

How to Reach The College:
Indian School of Mines (ISM) is located in the heart of the country's prime coking coal belt at Dhanbad (Jharkhand), 260 Km away from Kolkata on Howrah-New Delhi Grand Chord Railway route. It takes 3 hours from Howrah (Kolkata) to reach Dhanbad by Shatabdi/Rajdhani Express trains. ISM has a fully residential campus with all modern amenities covering an area of 88 hectares.
